[Deck 7, Counselor's Office, USS Rhode Island]
[January 10, 2387]
[0800 HRS]

Lieutenant Eiri Ashshy spent the early hours of the morning running back and forth between his new office on Deck 7 to the matter replicator on deck 3. He received several long looks from people in corridors, followed by their mental whispers of curiosity, as he carried a series of strange objects and devices back to his office. It took him almost two hours, which did not make him happy and he bolted down his breakfast at his desk, while he wrote several paragraphs about a planet he had visited while he was stationed on the USS Wanderer.

Once breakfast was gone, Eiri set his plate back in the replicator and looked around his office, taking a deep breath to calm his frazzled mind. This ship would be a nice change. Fewer people and an office near the constant hum of the engines. At moments like this, he had found himself looking for comfort, a familiar person to listen to, and often found himself listening to Ayan. The Bajoran pilot was overly chatty, but Eiri found his husband's jumble of thoughts and emotions to be centering somehow. He sought out the Lieutenant's mind and let it relax him.

With a shake of his head, as if to clear it, he took another deep breath and addressed the computer, “Computer, please compile a list of all people, civilians and Starfleet, who have not had a psychological profile in the last month. Please list those people first, in order of available time. Cross-reference those with my own schedule in the office and please estimate a time window.”

Several moments went by and then the polite female voice notified him, “Three weeks, or two weeks and three days, if each patient keeps his or her appointment. However, it may take as long as four weeks or more if patients are behind and those needing continual treatment.”

"Please set up the schedule and print it to my personal PADD and notify everyone scheduled in the next 24 hours that they have an appointment.”

The Counselor's office is much like any other starfleet office. A small desk sits to the left of the door, its surface uncluttered. A couch and two chairs and a low table take up most of the remainder of the room. The couch and chairs are covered in a rich, chocolate colored, plush fabric. Under the table is a deep shag rug in a light shade of mocha. Three small windows show an outside view of the ship. The walls are decorated in paintings that are more suggestions of colors rather then objects and all around the room there are small shelves with meditation items from all different cultures. The largest is the centerpiece for the low table in between the couch and chairs. It is a brass Tibetan singing bowl with a wooden striker inside.
