Wesley's Art Thread
I have a long history in BF of modifying or "kitbashing" pictures to come up with new ones, specifically interior shots. As time went by, I got better and more creative at it...
...case in point, a new bridge module for the Rhode Island, emphasising the refit from a Nova science vessel, into a more versatile and tactically capable patrol frigate, that is the Rhode Island class.
Let me know what you guys think
EDIT: Apparently, this forum likes cutting images in half instead of expanding...click on the image for full view, or here.

I absolutely love it, as I've told Wes previously. In particular the tactical area in the rear of the ship is freaking amazing, and the added detail of the ship' ACTUAL MSD back there.
Loves it
Loves it
Re: Wesley's Art Thread
That's good, because that and the two crew, and the chairs, and the colours, are all I actually changed from the Nova base

Well since apparently y'all didn't like the first one enough to comment, I've gone back and went a little crazy on additions...specifically, crew!

Re: Wesley's Art Thread
Wow. I was impressed enough with the edition that only featured ch'Gorev and Casper the Friendly Ghost. Nice work, indeed.

Re: Wesley's Art Thread
It's Casper in the second one...the first one was done when Casper wasn't a crew member yet, so it was meant to be Retal...but Bajoran Noses are hard to pull off and the earrings on the right side of the head, which isn't visible
Pictured in the second one are: Chief Engineer Bontecou-Masters, First Officer ch'Ghorev, Gunny Doyle, Commander Holmes, Junior Lieutenant Verek, Centurion Delatham, and Ensign Mordeva.
Continuing: A slightly exagerated representation of Doyle's Office: https://2img.net/h/i6.photobucket.com/albums/y228/EvilWalks/RHofficeDoyle.png
EDIT: Also, yay! You commented. My addiction to artistic adolation and attention is sated for the next 3 hours

Sorry about not commenting earlier. I like both your versions. They're very well put together and I'm flattered to see Galan thrown in the second one!

Thank you!
...by the way, we are using "Casper" in reference to Casimir Mendorva, right?

I'm not sure, but it does look like him.

Re: Wesley's Art Thread
These are awesome! Thank you so much for making them! I really want one of Eiri's office! hehe.
Re: Wesley's Art Thread
I might do so in the future. Main reason I did the Security Chief's Office is that I had a larger version of Doyle all made up and didn't want it to go to waste...and I was loopy enough at that point of the night that drawing a place laid astrew with bottles and weapons seemed hilarious at the time.

Re: Wesley's Art Thread
"Casper" is a colloquialism for an imperceptible or nonexistent person... I missed fully expanding the first image, so I missed seeing Retol to port of ch'Gorev. But now I have seen the light glinting off of our towering flight control officer.

Casper is a good enough nickname for me, lol.
And those are some really awesome pictures.

Made a slight but significant update, adding a Science and Enigneering (?) console, as well as some colour/texture changes.

Late to the game here.
Nice! Very nice!
If I even tried to do one of these, y'all would end up with barely discernible stick figures on a slightly ovular shape.
This is awesome.

Re: Wesley's Art Thread
Thanks you!
By the way, an updated list of what was used: the base is a Nova, the back-alcove is from the ENT B, the tactical console is from the Voyager transporter room, and the new railing consoles are from the ENT-D's Battlebridge.
Crew are repurposed from varying sources...Shras and Cas are native to the Nova set, Aubrey was from the Prometheus, Liz and Verek were from the ENT-E bridge, and Doyle was from the Voyager Department Head's office. Delethram is from the Romulan Warbird bridge of course.

Great updates.
And I <3 where Doyle came from. I'm a big fan of the Voyager series, despite the fact it could of been a lot better.

Little gift for you all before I go away possibly for a week do to dental surgery and recovery.
I got a request from an old friend to do a bridge similar to the Rhode Island for a Sabre Class light escort.

I'm guessing the seat that's been ejected out the view screen was Wesley Crushers?

Re: Wesley's Art Thread
Well, after a brief fury of creation for one of the two simms I AGM, I got inspired to try and finally do the Engineering for the Rhode Island.
Here's my progress so far: https://2img.net/h/i6.photobucket.com/albums/y228/EvilWalks/ri-engineering-beta.png
Thoughts? Comments? Hate-mail?
Update: Engineering now done completely! https://2img.net/h/i6.photobucket.com/albums/y228/EvilWalks/rhodeisland-engineering.png
Also now located on the tour page of the Rhode Island main site.
